Our beef is grass fed and grass and forage finished. They also are given daily supplement consisting of various certified organic and natural ingredients such as alfalfa, kelp, garlic, molasses, taurus salt, probiotics, zeolite and diatomaceous earth. They have access to an all natural lick processed in Alberta.

Seven to ten days prior to processing, certified organic unpasteurized apple cider vinegar is added to their drinking water. At Foothills Processors, our beef is dry aged, hung for 21 days for the best flavor. Our beef is then cut (well trimmed) and wrapped in brown freezer paper. Our sausage is made with pure ground beef, no added fats. In addition we only use natural or certified organic seasonings and flavorings; no nitrites, nitrates, sulphites or other artificial preservatives.
